When I started making comics a few years ago I decided I needed a mascot, so started to think “What should it be?” I decided my mascot needed to be cute, happy and most of all easy to draw. I was still in a nostalgic place as an artist and a Christian, years before I was trying to post my comic “Yudra” to a Christian comic site alongside notable Christian comic at the tome “Shelter of Wings” I believe it was but it was rejected because the administrator did not like the idea that animals did not get salvation in my story, my reasoning was they did not need it and I felt that anyone running a Christian media site should understand basic things like “Why Jesus died for us and what for” so disheartened I gave up on Yudra and comics altogether for many years.

I remembered all this while thinking of a mascot so I decided to take aspects of the main characters of Yudra, mix them in with an adorable little lizard like dragon and aspects of my new main characters from Guild Tomes and High Society and after a while you readers gave him the name “Little Blue” and over the years “Lil’Blue was born!”.
As time has gone on Lil’Blue has been one of our biggest draws and even got his own miniseries “Lil’Scriptures” where Lil’Blue shared a bible verse in a single panel comic, Lil’Blue merchandise is our most popular seller when our store is open and he has appeared the most in Pact Comics fanart.

​All these elements have made me start reconsidering Lil’Blue’s place in Pact Comics and as of this month the choice was made to remove Lil’Blue as our mascot and begin a new comic featuring him as the main character, the title is not for sure yet, I may let you the readers choose the tile in a poll but until then keep your eyes open, Lil’Blue is coming back and this time….It is Adorably personal!
